Title: Chief of Security, Reese’s Central

Duties: leading fearlessly, overseeing safety and security of Reese’ Central factory, including the protection of the Crystal Cap

Skills: What isn’t she good at?

When Hersheypark guests arrive at Reese’s Cupfusion, Commander Cup, Chief of Security at the futuristic Reese’s Central factory, welcomes them into the facility’s security agent training program. Security’s job at Reese’s Central would be an easy one–if it weren’t for the constant attempts by the League of Misfit Candy to steal the Crystal Cup, the factory’s amazing power source. Our stalwart Commander needs all the help she can get defending Reese’s Central from Mint the Merciless and his motley gang of troublemakers.

From the Writer

"Arriving upon a final design for Commander Cup that satisfied all parties took some work. In an attraction with over a dozen different character designs, hers might not seem like the one that would require the most passes to dial in. Her role, though, is important. In addition to being the ride's primary host and guide, she's also the main face of the Reese's brand. So, our clients at Hershey Entertainment and Resorts and at Reese's were understandably concerned about getting all the details right.

"We ended up developing our own multiverse of Commander Cups that explored different color palettes, uniform designs, and hairstyle. Oftentimes when collaborating with a client, you don't want to overload them with too many choices. They depend on us to help narrow the field of possibility. In this case, though, offering a side-by-side comparison of many options helped expedite the process."
